Overview
You can delete your Amby account and associated personal data yourself while signed in, or contact us if you cannot access your account.
This page describes what happens when you delete your account. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
Delete your account (signed in)
Sign in, open Account (customer workspace), scroll to Delete account, read the warnings, confirm, and choose Delete my account.
You must be logged in. The link below opens Account settings when you are already signed in; otherwise you will be asked to log in first.
Request by email
If you cannot sign in, email amby.spaces@gmail.com from the address registered on your account (or explain why you no longer have access). Use the subject “Delete my data” and include your full name and, if known, the email used for Amby.
We may ask for reasonable verification before processing the request.
What we delete
Profile identifiers: your name, email, and phone are replaced or cleared; the account is marked closed and you cannot sign in again with the same credentials.
Sessions: all active sessions are removed immediately.
Listings without inquiries: services you published that never received an inquiry are deleted, including linked addresses where safe.
Provider calendar blocks and availability entries tied to your account are removed.
Listings that still have inquiries are deactivated (hidden from public search) rather than hard-deleted so the other party keeps context.
What may be retained
Inquiry (reservation) rows and message history may remain so the customer or provider on the other side can still view past conversations. We do not notify them that you closed your account.
Your name and contact details in those threads may still appear in messages you sent before deletion.
Aggregated or anonymized data that cannot reasonably identify you may be kept for statistics and security.
Backups may retain deleted data for a limited technical window before they are overwritten.
Timing
Self-service deletion takes effect immediately when you confirm in Account settings.
Email requests are usually processed within 30 days. We will confirm by email when complete or if we need more information.
Remaining inquiry records and closed-account artifacts may be purged automatically after retention periods described in our Privacy Policy.
